Pitchfork 20 : #18 Kanye West - Late Registration
This has been the suprise of this project.
I’ve listened to Kanye here and there and mostly liked it. Certainly better than the vast majority of his genre peers in music. But for whatever reason, I hadn’t listened to Late Registration until now. It’s one of those works that gets better with each listen. One observation in particular for me was how deeply personal it felt. Reminded me of early Eminem
